REsearch

The PIE Center conducts research on issues related to the state’s agricultural and natural resources sectors through qualitative and quantitative research methods.

The PIE Center leads and directs research programming from ideation and research design through to peer-review deliverables and public engagement. PIE also assists scientists in aspects of social science research including the development of moderator guides, conducting focus groups, and the development of surveys. Research deliverables – including survey questions, research reports, and academic papers and publications – can then be integrated into communication and education materials, such as fact sheets, webinars, and online communication to help enable the public and policymakers to make informed decisions about Florida’s agricultural and natural resources sectors. If you have any questions about our research deliverables or are interested in collaborating, contact Sandra Anderson for qualitative inquiries or Anissa Zagonel for quantitative inquiries.
