After learning about the CERP, it is important to engage producers and business owners’ in conversations. Some questions you can ask to encourage a positive conversation are:

  1. What do you think about water quality in Florida?
  2. Do you think water quality is getting worse or getting better? Why?
  3. Have you experienced any water quality issues? What was the issue(s)?
  4. Why do you think the CERP is important to protect water resources?
  5. How can the CERP improve water quality in south Florida?
  6. What do you believe are the largest issues facing you, as you strive to comply with the CERP?
  7. How will the CERP impact your business?
  8. How do you plan to deal with the impacts the CERP has or will have on your business?
