The UF/IFAS PIE Center has developed a strategic marketing plan for the Florida blueberry industry based on research made possible by an FDACS specialty crop block grant. This in-service training opportunity will lead extension agents through the marketing plan, including in-depth explanations for each of the suggested tactics. This training will be especially helpful for agents who serve communities where blueberries are grown, but it will also provide information to agents who are looking help their growers improve upon their general marketing efforts. At the conclusion of the training, extension agents will be prepared to assist their growers in implementing several new marketing tactics for their operations.
