PIE Center research coordinator Sandra AndersonHometown?

Born in Brooklyn, New York, then I moved to Florida when I was 11. I call my hometown Lake Worth, Fla., by way of New York.

Education and previous work experience?

Bachelor’s of science in food and resource economics (focus on agribusiness) and a master’s in natural resource and environmental economics

What attracted you to the PIE Center?

Hearing so many positive things about the PIE Center and all the good work they were doing  really heightened my interest in becoming a part of the team.

What do you hope to accomplish here?

Expand my knowledge base and be able to contribute towards making the PIE Center successful

Do you have a hidden talent?

Hmmm, well I played violin for many years as a child…not sure I could play it now, but I was pretty good back then.

What are you afraid of?

Deathly afraid of snakes.

If you could have any super power, what would it be?

I would like to be able to read other people’s minds. I think it would be interesting to know what people really think.

What are your hobbies?
Reading and traveling.

If you could meet anyone in history, who would it be?

What is your favorite type of PIE?
Coconut Cream
